My laptop already has build in wifi so why do I need the Alfa AWUS036H external USB antenna?
The build in wifi in your laptop might not support injection or sniffing mode.
Most build in wifi in a laptop is locked from the factory so it is not possible to use for wpa cracking.
It is recommended to use the Alfa AWUS036H.
Also the benefit by using the Alfa AWUS036H is that you can connect external Antenna like 24 dBi or more.
