Google pledges full security on privacy

Ten global information commissioners sent Google a letter to request for words of guarantee from the web giant regarding the action it is currently taking in order to ensure the safety of the confidential data shared by many users.
Company overlooks the aspect of user’s safety
According to the privacy chiefs from various countries such as the United Kingdom, Spain, and Italy, the search company evidently falls short in securing the rights of every online user. In addition, the lack of complete readiness on giving full protection was witnessed when Google introduced their latest online service Buzz. The security leaders saw that the web company was obviously neglectful when considering the privacy of the individuals.
Forgiveness for an honest mistake
On the other hand, Google acknowledge the fault on their part that they were not able to offer the users the perfect service. As said by the global privacy counsels of Google, Jane Horvath and Peter Fleischer, Buzz was not faultless when it was launched by the company. However, they assured everyone that they took the necessary actions upon receiving the negative reports.
The web giant representatives expressed, in place of the company, their appreciation for the support that they received. The company was grateful for the people’s approval of their immediate action towards the problems on their services.
Full protection is rightfully for the online users
Based on the statement of the counsels of Google, the company knows the large amount of trust that the users offer to them. In return, the company will show more dedication in making the users more conscious about their responsibility to safeguard all the confidential data in their system.
Google provided various websites such as the Google Privacy Center that contains the FAQs and this is also where they will post blogs, which will talk about the recent privacy issues. This is done by the web company in order to provide greater knowledge to the individuals about their privacy practices.
Difficulties arise with the company’s apparent control
As of today, Google is ruling in the market and it becomes the origin of troubles in various areas. Many end-user groups believed that the web giant must be split up already. On the other hand, Germany’s government authorities filed charges against Google for the case of illegally gathering data through the Wi-Fi.
