McAfee agrees to pay for their users' expenses

McAfee, the prominent firm in terms of system security, offers that they can pay back all the amount of money used by their valued users. It is a fact that the McAfee users spent huge amount of cash so as to have their computers repaired. Their computers broke down after the security patch was distributed by McAfee a week ago and these damaged machines needed fixing.
A good and useful patch turns bad
Based on the feedbacks and complaints sent by the users, the McAfee update that was released during the previous week branded the original system files of the Windows OS as harmful and damaging viruses. Thus, the patch was marked as an update of injurious articles.
The important system files were all quarantined since they were detected as harmful computer system entities. Hence, the computers collapsed and these machinese experienced uncontrollable rebooting. Additionally, the network access of many computers systems was disconnected.
Back-up plans must always be ready
In response to this embarrassing incident, McAfee quickly opened a toll-free hotline. Their consumers may call this number so that they can receive technical advice from the people in-charge. However, there are times that the suggestions of the personnel do not actually help in solving the issue. For this reason, users may also download a software remedy that may be acquired using a separate computer. But then, if the two previews solutions did not help in remedying the problem McAfee might decide to just mail a CD.
An acknowledgement of the honest mistake
Without a doubt, the owners of McAfee’s anti-virus scan used up great sum of money in order to have their computers put back into its previous normal state of functioning. To compensate for this faulty update of McAfee, the security company assures the individuals that they will pay the price that was spent.
The affected users may access the website of McAfee since the information on how they will be able to take back the cost of the fix will be seen there in a matter of days. Also, the users who were affected by this damaging patch will get an additional two years to their subscription.
