black hat techniques to gain higher rankings. The search engines are getting smarter and updated often. The search engines also have humans to evaluate sites.

Once a site or a page have been found to utilize black hat techniques it can result in de ranking of the page or the entire site.

A resubmission of the site after all the black hat techniques gets removed can even take weeks.

And there is no guarantee to regain the original positions again.

It is recommended to always follow search engine guide lines and only do white hat techniques to gain rankings.
