United Kingdom raced with the twelve spamming countries

Sophos, the widely known security firm, was able to list down the twelve worst countries linked with the distribution of spam messages. And, as seen in their collected data, United Kingdom currently occupied the ninth place in the ranking.
Countries responsible for problems are revealed
However, the “dirty dozen” list created by Sophos named United States as the top-ranking country that has been continuously passing on large spam mails. Approximately 13 percent of the total spam mails were sent from US and this is equivalent to the hundred million daily spam messages. The next in line in the roll of twelve was reserved for the country, India. This country had been the source of about seven percent of all the global spamming.
Lesser by one percent, compared to the previous country’s statistics, Brazil was positioned on the third place. South Korea, Vietnam, and Germany filled the fourth to sixth place, respectively. Three countries shared the ninth spot of the list and these are United Kingdom, Russia, and Italy.
Results can never be assumed
For a country like China, which has always been taking the responsibility against most of the problems in the web worldwide, did not even reach the rank 12 for this matter. It is, however, on the fifteenth position since it only sends out two percent of the total spam mails.
The “list” is not always the basis
Based on a blog post written by Graham Clueley, the senior technology consultant of the security firm Sophos, countries on the high ranks are actually not the ones mostly observed. However, the countries not included in the list are always being watched closely.
Based on the previous news reports, China already made a bad impression in the online community. This country was the source of many vicious online attacks that had affected the systems of different companies as well as the networks of the government. But then, they were able to decrease the suspicious spamming activities from their computers during the past 12 months.
People are accountable for their own properties
According to Cluely, the corporations being affected are the ones accountable for having their systems infected and abused. In addition, each of the countries should be responsible enough to always clear out the affected systems within their reach so as to become instruments in the battle against online attacks.
Users should also be reminded that they should never purchase products that are promoted by spam mails. In this way, lesser spam mails will be sent in their webmail accounts.
