Microsoft Corporation and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) have recently announced the availability of the Microsoft Health user group (Microsoft HUG) all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
This would allow healthcare organizations and partners with an online place to help the development of healthcare solutions and can show how technology can help in solving healthcare challenges.
Microsoft Health user group is an innovative forum which is designed as a place for partners and developers of healthcare technology solutions to work together on aspects of solutions built on Microsoft platforms.
New uses for existing technology can be discovered by them with the help of this. They can develop support, collaborate and can discuss needs and aspirations that are raising from the current use of healthcare IT.
Currently there are 5,000 members in Microsoft's Health User Group and 31 corporate supporters all over north America and is unified by a user developed software on Microsoft technology to improve healthcare quality and efficiency.
Tim Smokoff, general manager of worldwide health at Microsoft said that expanding Microsoft health user group to the EMEA healthcare community allows an increased forum for sharing the best things and learning from our own experience as well as those of our customers and partners.
