Famous companies offer service at a weekend event

 

Based on the latest news broadcasts, large companies in the IT business will offer their assistance during a scheduled weekend event entitled “Random Hacks of Kindness”. This is an affair that is comprised of hard coding wherein the web engineers, who will give their free assistance help, will help in looking for the best solutions on the problems persisting worldwide.
The five major organizers of this event are Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, NASA, and The World Bank. The event “Random Hacks of Kindness” will go on from the 4th to the 6th of June this year.
Different countries will join hands
A series of global satellite affairs will also be held in the countries Jakarta, Sydney, Nairobi, and Sao Paolo. And, the “hackathon” event in Washington DC will occur at the same time as with the ones organized in the other countries. In addition, a special workshop will take place at the Maryland-based offices of Microsoft and this will run for two consecutive days.
Well-planned event aiming for success
According to the Google’s most recent blog post, the process will begin with definition of problems based on the ideas coming from the nongovernment organizations, government agencies, and researchers found all over the world. Next step is sending out of requests for the combined skills of the hackers from participating countries. This will become useful in searching for the most accurate solutions on the collected software problems.
At the end of the “hackathon” event, various teams will impart the technologies that they have created based on the successful researches that they conducted. Lastly, awards and prizes will be handed out to the winning individuals.
Affair with a stable foundation
The said technology affair began just a year ago and it occurred together with a Crisis Camp that took place in Washing DC. And, the three leading companies Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo were the ones who sponsored the specific event.
The coordinators of the “hackathon” business look forward to the participation of many technology experts globally. The people that the sponsors expect are the following: professional programmers and students who are in need of more coding experience in the field.
